Davidoff Cologne

The challenge on this job was to create metal poker chips that would be similar to the cologne bottle product that looked like a stack of chips as in the first picture in this folder. Had to waterjet cut 1500 1/8" blanks out of aluminum sheets, then have them printed with a pattern on both sides, then polish the edges of each chip and finally paint stripes on the sides of stacks of chips so that they would actually look like poker chips. Tried to farm it all out to propmaker vendors but the time was too short and the budget too tight so we (me and two guys) did it ourselves. Aside from the printing itself which was done incredibly well and super cheap by Universal Sign Shop. Got to thank Blair at Uni for pulling that one off! Also was able to get clearance from Bicycle Playing cards and the designer of the cards in a day.
